Regency Specialist Hospital is a licensed provider of the Sinovac-Coronavac (Sinovac) COVID-19 vaccine and private vaccination program for adult and teenagers are open for registration.

Sinovac booster shot is open from 6 December 2021 onwards.

About the Sinovac COVID-19 Vaccine

The vaccination will consist of

  • Two doses
  • Each dose is to be administered 3 – 4 weeks
  • Price is RM154 for two doses​

Who is eligible?

  • Teenagers 12 – 17 years old without comorbidities and those who are not eligible for Pfizer vaccine.
  • Adults 18 years and older​
  • Any Malaysian, PR, or person holding a valid long-term visit pass, who has not received any dose of any COVID-19 vaccine
  • Foreign workers are eligible to register.​

  • 1st and 2nd dose must be Sinovac
  • 3 months after the 2nd dose​
  • RM77 per dose​
  • Only eligible for adults 18 years and older

  2. Please check your email for registration confirmation. Payment will be verified and our representatives will contact you to arrange for the appointment schedule.

How does the Sinovac vaccination protect me against Covid-19?

The Sinovac vaccine works by teaching the immune system to make antibodies against the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. Once vaccinated, your body’s immune system can respond to a COVID-19 infection by producing antibodies to block the virus. You may learn more about the Sinovac vaccine here.

How safe is the Sinovac vaccination?

According to the World Health Organisation (WHO), the Sinovac vaccine prevented symptomatic disease in 51% of those vaccinated and prevented severe COVID-19 and hospitalisation in 100% of the studied population.

As a precautionary measure, there will be an observation period of 15 minutes after vaccination.

Where is the vaccination centre?

The vaccination centre is at the Executive Health Screening Centre, ground floor of Regency Specialist Hospital.

How can I make appointment to get the Sinovac vaccination?

You may complete the registration details as required above. You will be redirected to payment page upon above registration form is submitted. You will receive confirmation appointment with specific date & time via Whatsapp message once registration & payment is completed.

After payment has been made, how long will it take to receive appointment confirmation?

Once payment is received, you will be notified about your vaccination appointment in 3 days. For registration & payment on Saturday, Sunday, or Public Holiday, we shall contact you on the following working day.

How much is the Sinovac vaccination?

The Sinovac vaccination will cost RM154 for two doses. The vaccination will be administered in a 2-dose schedule, with the 2nd dose scheduled 3 – 4 weeks after first dose.

Can I walk-in for vaccination?

Walk-in is available now but appointments are advisable to ensure that you secure your vaccination slot.

How can I prepare for my vaccination?

  • Bring your IC / passport for both appointments.
  • Please wear a short-sleeved top, or an attire with sleeves that can be rolled up.

What are the possible side effects, and how do I manage them?

Like all vaccines, the Sinovac vaccine can cause side effects. However, most side effects are mild or moderate and usually get better within a few days. The table below lists some common side effects that have been reported and how to manage them.

Pain, redness, swelling at the injection site 1 to 2 Paracetamol tablets every 6 hours as needed
Fever, chills
Headache, muscle pain, joint pain
Tiredness Rest
Lymph node swelling at neck or arms Usually gets better by itself in a week or so

See a doctor if:

  • The side effects persist or get worse
  • The fever persists for more than 48 hours (2 days)

How can I get a vaccination certification?

Digital certificate will be available in MySejahtera upon completion.

Can I request refund after payment is made?

Not refundable, you may opt to reschedule at least 3 days in advance if you could not attend as appointment. However,

  • If you receive official MySejatera appointment before the 1st dose vaccination completed by Regency -> Yes refundable.
  • If you are medically proven unfit for vaccination -> Yes, refundable.
  • If your first dose vaccine is taken but medically proven not advisable for second dose -> Yes, partially refundable (RM77).
