Overview
The Dietetics Department at Regency Specialist Hospital provides extensive nutritional assessments, education and support to all in-and-out patients as well as the overall community.
The team works closely with the Food Service Unit to advise on diets with therapeutic qualities for inpatients.

Inpatient services
Inclusive of nutrition assessment, education or support (oral, enteral andparenteral), especially in the area of:
- Cancer
- Cardiac diseases
- Gastrointestinal diseases
- Kidney diseases
- Post-surgical and trauma care
- Terminal diseases
- Wound healing
Outpatient services
Ongoing nutritional support and education following hospital discharge. Conditions include:
- Weight management
- Diabetes
- Gout
- Hypercholestrolemia and more
External services
Providing health talks and consultation on the importance of nutrition to corporate clients and members of the public.
