Dr Norhashim obtained his medical degree from University Kebangsaan Malaysia in 1991. He pursued his interest in psychiatry and obtained master of medicine in psychiatry in 1999. He subsequently spent one year of clinical attachment in neuropsychiatry in London at the national hospital of neurosurgery and neurology. Dr Norhashim is registered specialist in psychiatry with the special interest in neuropsychiatry. He is member of the neuropsychiatry group of KKM. Dr Norhashim clinical expertise include management of Mental health problem such as stress management, adjustment disorder, depression, generalized anxiety, panic disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, mental health disorder secondary to medical/ surgical problem, dementia, neurocognitive disorder, complicated parkinson disease, complicated epilepsy, non-epileptic seizures, conversion disorder, somatic disorder, personality disorder.
